Hero Shot This particular shot encapsulates the grand scale of my building and highlights the juxtaposition of thick and powerful support pillars to the slimmer and more graceful columns of the spiral staircase. The sunlight filtering through under the yin-yang structure strikes a daring silhouette of the round elements of the spiral staircase against the sharp edges of the jagged protrusions surrounding it. The two words integrated into the architecture of the building are balance and jagged, which are interpreted through the yin-yang space built for Barnabei Freeman and the jagged protrusions that house the space for Off-White. Detail Shot The shot explores the balustrades of the staircase leading from the plateau, that is the showroom, to the space designed for Barnabei Freeman. 3D Model - Jagged Balance Front-Right Isometric Back-Left Isometric Back Ground Section Isometric Left Section Back Section Stair 1 - Spiral Column With all the curves of the columns supporting the yin-yang structure, I wanted to create a more sophisticated spiral staircase and one that essentially mirrored the yin-yang space. Right View Front-Right Isometric Short Section Long Section Stair 2 - Flat Rise This simplistic yet sleek staircase is a mediator between the jagged curves of the underground space that erupt from the ground and the elegant and stylistic curves of the upper yin-yang space.
