Hero Shot

This particular shot encapsulates the grand scale of my building and highlights the juxtaposition of thick and powerful support pillars to the slimmer and more graceful columns of the spiral staircase. The sunlight filtering through under the yin-yang structure strikes a daring silhouette of the round elements of the spiral staircase against the sharp edges of the jagged protrusions surrounding it. The two words integrated into the architecture of the building are balance and jagged, which are interpreted through the yin-yang space built for Barnabei Freeman and the jagged protrusions that house the space for Off-White.

The shot explores the balustrades of the staircase leading from the plateau, that is the showroom, to the space designed for Barnabei Freeman. The sunlight captured and split out by the wooden columns encapsulates the aesthetic of natural light and its superiority over artificial lighting in a space designed to showcase the best products of both Off-White and Barnabei Freeman.
